The Alimiyyah for youth is a ‘post maktab’ programme for pupils who wish to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Islam which is rooted in traditional scholarship, along with particular reference to the complex issues they face in the modern West.

The course seeks to expose the children to the higher level Islamic Sciences such as Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah, and spirituality; along with contemporary Islamic issues, and gaining essential practical experience of Prophetic life skills.

The aim of the curriculum is to produce young leaders who have great competence in the Islamic sciences as well as professional skills necessary to serve and guide the Muslim community with excellence in the future.

In addition to imparting knowledge and skills, the curriculum, and the environment within which it is taught is designed to produce intelligent young minds whose learning is marked by tradition, intelligence, piety, responsibility, and generosity of spirit, all that which is characteristic of Islamic scholarship and living.
