| Description
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said about his companions ‘If you spend the equivalent of mount Uhad in gold you will not reach the station of one my companions’. (Bukhari). How much do we know about the companions of the Prophet (upon whom be peace). And from the companions some of the most influential were women, indeed, the first person to believe in Islam and the Prophet of Islam was Khadeejah (Allah be pleased with her) . She was the fist person to support the Messenger of Allah. She strengthened him, assured him and consoled him. One of our greatest scholars was our leader Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) who took an army in to battle, ordered a complex society and taught the narrations of the Prophets (upon whom be peace) to women and men. The first martyr in Islam was a women, Sumayyah (Allah be pleased with her) – to whom the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) gave the glad tidings of paradise. Come to this class and learn about our heroines and role models for us and our daughters in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is a continuous course breaking for holidays during children school holidays.
