The sisters’ Quranic Arabic course is designed to enable one to begin to understand and appreciate the beauty of the Qur’an in Arabic.  Over the duration of the course, this lofty goal can be gradually achieved with the help of Allah, by learning individual Arabic words and their connotations; as well as grammar and morphology (nahw &sarf), which are tools to derive a more precise comprehension.  Suitably selected verses of the Qur’an are studied in detail at every lesson with the general guidance of classical sources of knowledge.

The course aims for an intellectual and spiritual journey through five progressive levels, each building on previous learning.  As understanding grows, with Allah’s mercy, both mind and heart will be humbled and one’s love and reverence for the words of Allah deepen and mature .
